I will never win an award for “World’s Greatest” husband, dad, administrator, teacher, or runner. However, running teaches me on a daily basis to give my best effort to be the best I can be. I try not to compare myself to others because there are always many others better than me. I try to focus on improving myself. I hope to be just a little better today than I was yesterday. Running is NOT easy for me, but I love it, which helps me have the discipline and work ethic toward getting a little faster or running a little longer. Running reminds me that I need to put the same type of passion and effort into my family life and professional life.
